Goochier are going to be reviewing caught stealing the new Darren Aronovsky movie. We were super excited to talk about it and I think even more so now

that it actually turned out good. And he can be he can be a little streaky. Oh, yeah. I mean,

he's got one of the stranger filmographies. Honestly, looking through it, it's like a mix of Oscar bait, like genuine masterpieces,

and then just what the fuck is he doing directing Noah?

Or like The Whale or there are so many movies.

It's a very strange catalog.

And this is another addition to that.

Like this is completely different from him.

And I didn't know what to expect, but I'm happy it turned out the way it did. Forever you like Black Swan, you get a mother. You know what I mean? Like shit happens. He's very strange. He's super, super fucking streaky. And I kind of like it in a way. We're like, he gets out of his comfort zone. He does weird shit. Sometimes it works.

Sometimes it doesn't. But he swings. He's fucking swinging for the fences every time,

which I do respect. But before we talk about caught stealing, we do have a bunch of news to get to.

And then we'll be talking about some of the things that are coming to streaming in the month

of September as well. First up, this is a funny one just because of what

Christopher Columbus was just saying, Warwick Davis will return as Professor Fletwick and HBO's

new Harry Potter reboot series. It makes you laugh because Columbus, Chris Columbus, who obviously

directed the first two movies, he had a quote where he said, like, I saw the picture of Nick Frost

in the completely exactly the same costume as, uh, was it Rubis, no, Ruby's Hager's the character's

name. The fellow. Yes. Um, and the same exact cost Hagrid costume that they had. And he said,

he's like he said to himself, like, what's the point? Like, what are we doing if we're just doing the exact same thing over again and then on top of that they just cast the same actor for the same exact role again so it does kind of make you think a little bit but in the long and short of it is that the answer is money like you know they're they're gonna make a fuck ton of money doing this and it's not like uh some people might think like oh well it's not releasing in theaters, they're not going to making like box office money, like, no, they're going to make a fuck ton of money doing this. And it's not like, some people might think like, oh, well, it's not releasing in theaters. They're not going to making like box office money. Like, no, they're going to be making merch sales bigger than you could ever imagine off of like parents trying to indoctrinate their kids into the same IP that they got into.
