Just me right now because of a, I guess what I would call a justifiable lack of professionalism from JJ, if that makes sense.

We were planning on doing this together.

Then the Ireland result happened where they defeatedry 3-2 in just the most unbelievably

dramatic of circumstances. And I told JJ, hey, if you kind of want to just celebrate this

for the afternoon, that's cool. I'm happy to just do this myself, to which he said, are you

sure that's okay? Which probably meant I'm currently drunk and not in a position to record, but I at least

have the wherewithal to make sure that's okay.

So I said, yes, of course, go enjoy yourself because, you know, it's interesting.

I think it was just on October 12th, JJ did a pod devoted almost solely to his Ireland devastation.

I think it was after they lost to Portugal.

And I can't remember if it was a nat pod or if it was a pod the month earlier when they lost to Armenia.

But there was at some point recently, he kind of was sort of referencing the, the low point

of Irish soccer of just like how, of how dramatic their plummet had been and how it just

seemed like there was no way out.

And that this were we entering almost some kind of new normal for whatever Irish

soccer was going to be. And now here we are just a month or two months later. And they're

celebrating one of the, I mean, it's one of the landmark results in recent Irish soccer history.

Now, they're still going to have to go to a playoff and they're going to have to win there
