Welcome in, ladies and gentlemen, to episode 59 of the Memorial MMO, KSR's Kentucky

Women's Basketball podcast live from a hotel room in Greenville, South Carolina, here at the

SEC tournament.

This is the first episode I think we have done in the history of this program programming of the

podcast anyway that i don't have a set list of topics i don't and i actually only have like

three graphics to work with because uh not to say i'm running on fumes i got a power nap in

earlier and that was really needed but my life's been really busy and we got minimal graphics to talk about, but we have a lot

of basketball to talk about.

So, you know, I don't have the AP poll stuff pulled up.

You know where Kentucky's at, right?

A big thing for this group.

Kentucky beats Arkansas 9464 to start the SEC tournament.

And it was a dominating win that they really just kind of had to get because, for one, obviously, you win this game and you advance in the tournament and that's great.

But at the same time, it's a great confidence-building win.

You know, to beat a team like you did, that's great for momentum.

And then, you know, like just if you lost that game, that would have killed your

chances at hosting, but we don't have to worry about that any longer. One of my favorite parts

about the game, and this is easily going to be my favorite storyline to follow all week long,

is Asia Boone and Amelia Hatton. And don't know if you all have seen today um initially it was

Asia Boone who passed um Ron Howard for the most threes made in the season Ron had 84 and then Asia Boone passed her and then Amelia Hassett

passes Ron Howard. Now they're both sitting at 863s made on the year tied for the UK single

season program record for a three-pointers made. And they're going to be competing basically to see, all right, who's going to
