All right, Father Patrick, back in the proverbial saddle. Truly. And

life is somewhere between good and bad. Yeah, it's always those things. It's always good and bad,

I think. Yeah. In the sense that here we are, we're in our studio, which used to look like one way

and now looks like another way. We may mention the fact in the last episode, so So how you feeling? Oh man. I'm so happy. Nice. In the news studio, I think I'm going to come to

the new studio and just sit here when I need to feel beauty. There you go. Because the team that

worked on this is incredible. Boom. And they did a magnificent job. It's a nice place to sit in. Yeah. And I love how it looks. There you go. It looks so good. Well, fine, tune it. You know, we're going to keep playing around with these things. Yeah. In the Dominican tradition, people ask us why we do X, Y, and Z things. And often enough, the answer is super practical. It's like, why do you sit and stand during the office? It was probably like so that we didn't fall asleep in the 13th century in our big cold churches.

But then we tell people it's because like the one side is preaching and the other side is attending to the preaching. So when it comes to like the appointments and the things here, what was the exact reason for which we got the stars on the wall? Because I liked them. Bingo. No, but yeah, so like the spiritual inspiration, I would say, is St. Dominic, of course. The star is one of his symbols, you know, his godmother sees the star descend on him and his baptism. He sees the star as he's praying for whether or not he should found the order. You often see St. Dominic depicted with the star on his forehead. He's the patron saint of astronomers. Ooh. So I don't know that I knew that. I like the star. Yeah. It's okay. You haven't read the book. It's all right. I did read the book. I edited the book. I know. That's why the joke is great. You made it better. So I like the star thing.

You know, we could get more cachet out of the star. Exactly. We've got a sweet statue of St.

though, sadly. Exactly. Alas and al a lack not all things can be represented on the

same piece of art but um yeah rock in the free world so thanks to all those who pitched in uh

for the retreat fundraiser last year part of that was dedicated to retreats part of that was dedicated

to the overhaul of this here room you forgot to mention though that we were like falling out of the

chairs oh yeah and so as far as like practice like we yes we wanted it to look whole of this year room. You forgot to mention, though, that we were, like, falling out of the chairs.

Oh, yeah.

And so as far as, like, practice, like, we, yes, we wanted it to look better. Yeah. So that the space represented the quality of at least the things you say on this episode. Right, yeah.
