Hello Catholics.

And everyone else, welcome to your home for pure Catholic pleasure. It is the

Catholic Guy Show. Life is complicated. The human person is so complicated. Being a Christian is so

complicated. We have so many mixed emotions and feelings and we're all walking contradictions.

Any regular listeners of the show know, and Tyler, I think you would agree to this. I would like

to be taken seriously in my chosen profession. It's one of the things you would like the most,

actually. Yeah, I would like respect. I would like to be taken seriously.

Like, Lino's a broadcaster. Lino has interesting insights. I try to say it. I can't even say it without laughing. But I would like this to be true. And so then at nauseam on the show, what do I regularly do? I mentioned to people, oh, I got a master's degree in theology, or I've won

Emmy Awards, 20 plus years in broadcasting, or, you know, when big people events happen,

who calls CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, everybody calls me to come on. I try to be taken seriously.

It never works, right?

No, it fails spectacularly, actually.

The only great success I've ever had in my career is in the failure to let people know what a

success I am. That's the only success is in my failure. You have succeeded in that.
