Hello, Catholics!

And everyone else, welcome to your home for pure Catholic pleasure.

It is the Catholic Guy Show.

It is a sport ice fishing.

It is, in fact, a sport.

And I grew up in Minnesota.

I didn't grow up ice fishing, in fact.

But after I went to college, I met a bunch of guys who did get into ice fishing. And to this day, go ice fishing. Now, Mark, you live in Arizona. Are you ever gone ice fishing in your whole life? I don't even know what ice is. No, I have not. I, honest to God, there's such a fine line for me, and it's always been this way, between fishing and just standing on the shore look like an idiot. So to take what I don't consider to be a sport, which I know it is, no insult to anybody likes fishing, but I've never been a big fisherman. But then the idea of taking that and putting it like in zero or sub-zero temperatures and sitting in a hut on top of ice. Not sweetening the deal, buddy. Not sweetening the deal at all.

Two things you should know there.

First of all, fishing should be done on a boat, not just on a dock.

But secondly, ice fishing outside isn't a sport.

Ice fishing with a heated ice fishing house, not a hut, but an actual house, that is a sport.

But isn't it, doesn't it seem counterintuitive? I know the ice is thick, but doesn't

seem counterintuitive, hey, you know what we should do on top of this sheet of ice keeping us

from hypothermia? We should heat it up.

The whole thing. Doesn't that seem counterintuitive to anyone's logical?
