You would expect me to be yelling hello Catholics and everyone else.

You'd be expecting me to talk about Easter and happy Easter.

He has risen.

He has risen indeed.

You've already heard the news.

So it's not news anymore.

It's just sad. Pope Francis died.

And I've done a little bit of coverage already in terms of I've appeared, I guess,

on a few different outlets, both on the, what do you call it, NBC and the Washington Post.

And I've talked to a few other places. And Tyler, everyone has asked me the same question. So I'm going to start with my first story of the show being the same

question almost every reporter has asked me, if that's okay with you. That's fine with me. I fully

support it. And their first question is, what is my reaction? And I think my reaction is the exact same reaction every single one of us has, which is just shock.

We all know, like, if you would have told me six weeks ago when Pope Francis was in the hospital and things were not looking good,

if you would have told me the Pope died, I would have been like, oh, that's so sad.

But I was also mentally ready for it.

I was mentally ready for Pope Francis to die.

Didn't want him to die.

I love Pope Francis.
