Welcome to Dedicated. I'm your host Doug Brunt. Today we're with Catherine Grace Katz. She is the

author of the terrific book, The Daughters of Yalta, which takes us to the famous 1945 conference

in Yalta among the big three. I have a funny story about how I came to know of

Catherine and the book, which I will tell in a minute. The only better story is how Catherine

came to have first look access to archives of the Churchill family and all the treasures that

she found in there that led to this terrific book. Catherine, the book is awesome.

Now, we're going to have the Gunner today, which is an NA drink, which is probably

good because we're kind of getting into the holiday season.

There are way too many opportunities for drinks already.

So having a non-alcoholic today is probably a good thing.

I think initially I'd ask if I could have a chocolate milkshake,

but I realized the blender probably wouldn't work so well with the acoustics here.

So, you know, this is a good backup choice.

We had a call for a whiskey sour the other day,

which I understand can be made with an egg, like a raw egg in there,

which we didn't do.

So that would be even grosser than a...
