the leaders made sense now i believe you're up to fifth and i'm up to eighth so maybe this only

applies to you but uh how's your season going you are you going to be making up ground in most of your

leagues or are you uh playing from ahead um mostly going to have to make up ground uh doing doing pretty well in a few leagues but others i have a lot of have to make up ground, uh, doing, doing pretty well in a few leagues, but others,

I have a lot of ground to make up. So, um, yeah, just a time of year to dial in and just make any

incremental gains that you can. And hopefully, you know, it'll work out, work out. So yeah.

Well, we'll just say you were method acting throughout the first half in

preparation for this show. As always, we're going to start with the headlines before we move

on to the main topic of today, which is playing catch-up strategies for how to chase down the leader

Max Fried, hit the IL today with left forearm neuritis. Forearm issues, very worrisome for pitchers.

We hear Tommy John within a few weeks or months. It often starts with forearm. We're not seeing that

yet, of course, but I think forearm is one of the scariest possible words to see for a pitcher

injury. And this is somebody who was

dealing with forearm issues last year, too. So I would imagine you don't have many reassuring
