former Tennessee outfielder? Yeah, I'm doing well and you know that's still kind of setting in you know moving on I think when you know something goes so well and you become such a part of your life and you know just because of

rules and things you know that part is you know over for my time of Tennessee does

sound a little weird but definitely look back and have you know fond memories of it.

Absolutely and I want to start kind of by revisiting

the late decision that that you made last summer I believe it was August when you committed because it was in the first.

Yeah, it was kind of right when fall camp for football was was getting underway and you and I got the chat and I knew that you were going to be a fun guy to cover from the moment I spoke with you but you had set your mind on on dental school what was going to Ohio State after you finished your your baseball career at

Cincinnati just what kind of goes through your your head when you reflect on on that

decision to to play one more year of baseball and played at Tennessee.

Yeah, so I kind of waited until because of the season I had, you know, I had some opportunities

professionally to start. I kind of waited until after the draft. That's why it was

it was such a late, you know thing for me. I got into the portal after the

draft and the draft was a week later than it is this year so I wasn't even in the portal

till you know July 20th or so and ended up committing the following week pretty much in August

first but so I waited till after that and you know all the following week pretty much in August 1st.

But so I waited until after that and you know things didn't you know

shake on the draft how I would have liked that year.

So you know I was okay with coming back and you know I wanted to play another year and that's why I
