We are back and ready to dive into all of the news that we have missed over the last few weeks of being gone. Hello and welcome to a dick to the mouse. Today is Sunday, August 3rd. You're listening to episode my own microphone where I can talk into it at any point of the time that I want to.

You know, I think we made it work. We did. We did. Recording on, on the go. But yeah, I think it is,

it's nice to be back in the studio with the good sound and just like we're here sitting on the

couch together again. Things are right in the world right things are right in the

world once again um so i guess just to catch everybody up so once we um left the ship on what was

that thursday morning um so we got up about 715 and we went to breakfast at eight and we were supposed to get off the ship

by nine but our tag got called like right at nine so we got off the ship about 10 minutes after

maybe 15 minutes after and our bus was supposed to depart at 930 it turned out it wasn't there

yet so it was like 20 minutes late so we actually didn't leave the port until 10. And the lady said, don't worry. The bus won't leave without you. And she walked away and I looked at Dan and I said, yes, but the plane will. And he goes, we have five hours. We're fine. So this is the port of Southampton in England. And so it is a little bit of a drive.

And it's a couple of hours without traffic.

And it was raining and roads were closed.

And we, of course, hit traffic.

So the earliest that we would have been able to set up our flights to utilize the Disney

cruise line transfer from Southampton to London Gatwick,

which is where we found a direct flight from, was 2 p.m.

And so our flight was at 2.30 p.m.

So I was reasonably confident that that was okay, but we hit traffic, we left the port late.

We sat in the same place for 45 minutes at one point in time. And then the driver gets on. He's like, um, we're going to stop for our relief break here in the next 10 minutes. And we all look at each other. We're like, uh, what? Like we have to get to the airport. Like, see. I was like, I asked, I like, I yelled out like, how far is it to the airport?

And he goes, oh, about 40 minutes.

I look around.

I was like, does anybody have to use the restroom? Like, is it dire? And nobody said, like, can we just go? Because like, we were, we were starting to panic a little bit. A little bit. Like, we weren't going to make this flight. and I did not want to repeat of our flight getting canceled in Vancouver and scrambling and all that. So anyway, all that to say, we got to the airport.

We bustled over. We weren't even sure which terminal we were supposed to be in. They dropped us
