Summary

1:46.4	The US had enjoyed a close relationship with Panama, and in particular its de facto leader,
1:52.3	General Manuel Noriega. But the relationship between the two countries had deteriorated
1:59.1	to the point of no return. The US wanted Noriega gone. More than 20,000 American troops invaded
2:06.7	Panama, seizing control of key military installations. Panama City became a battleground.
2:18.4	The US planned to extradite General Noriega from Panama to face charges in the US.
