0:09.0	In July of 2018, producer Kate McMahon was vacationing with her family in Victoria,
0:14.0	British Columbia. One morning, Kate made a discovery that would send her into a year-long reporting journey.
0:21.0	So Kate, tell us what happened that morning.
0:24.0	Well, I was going for a run and I spotted a herd of deer in some woods across the road.
0:30.0	So I decided to follow them to take video with my smartphone for my kids.
0:35.0	See, it's a mama, a daddy, and a baby fawn.
0:41.0	I realize I'm standing in this cemetery.
0:44.0	One gravestone I'm standing over totally gives me chills.
0:48.0	Mania van Kylenberg, 1969 to 1987.
0:53.0	She parts her wings and then she's gone.
0:57.0	She was only 18 years old. I'm wondering, car accident, drug overdose,
1:03.0	and so I take a picture of her grave.
1:06.0	Why did you take a picture?
1:08.0	It was just a moment of feeling like I wanted to put good thoughts out there for this girls family,
1:13.0	whoever they were.
1:15.0	And then something mind-blowing happens later that night.
1:18.0	I show my husband the photo and he says, I know that name.
1:22.0	I don't believe him.
1:24.0	We are in a foreign country and I had followed deer into a random cemetery.
1:28.0	So I go online and find out he's actually right.
