that kind of stuff it's your enthusiasm winning yet I know what I'm actually I feel like it's

getting a good bit for just me and you to check in each time now it feels like I right I've got my

weekly check in with God now just sit down and have a bit of chat so not me I'm still enjoying it

it's like the opposite of therapy you're such a bad influence on me and i think i'm a bad influence on you i think i used

to blame you but actually yeah you know you get the worst out of me as well yeah there's definitely

a wee hangy i mean as you can hear it's been it's been a bit of a rough weekend on the old vocal

chords um but a great weekend and

yeah life's life's just good at the minute you know what since the last episode going out I keep

getting messages saying 8% comps and brilliant he needs to operate more at 8% because he said somebody

said to me see when he's grumpy he's even funnier than not. Oh, mate, I know.

You're my eye, because 100% confidence would be too much. Aye. Because that was that. Did I ever tell you about the time I am? So I did this thing called the Whole 30 diet, right? Which my wife got me on, which is this. It's actually not bad in terms of a diet. What's it called? The Whole 30. whole 30. Right. So you can eat like steaks and stuff, right? But it's like no impurities, nothing processed, nothing thing. And all you're really allowed to drink as well is like water. Right. And after like two weeks, I'd do this, I had more energy than I've ever had in my life. That's not a good thing with you, though, is it?

No, and I wrote, I used to walk my dog by this high school, right? And it was a lot of squirrels that used to live. And this is where my head was at, because I had that much energy. I lived in the trees. And I wrote, like, a children trying about a squirrel high school called Nuts High. and I sent it to my managers

going, it was like the ABC.

I can't remember, I'll need to get the rules out. Like the squirrels that all went to school on time at the same time of school. And I got an email back from one of my managers going, are you fucking high? And I was like, I've never been more sober in my life. I've not had a drink or in it in weeks, but I had so much energy. I just, I couldn't, I didn't know what he'd have myself. Serious question, did you ever think when you were growing up that you had something like maybe an ADHD or an attention deficit thing? Because you are one million miles an hour all the time. Well, no, that's the thing. I'm not when I hangover. As you seem, I am useless when I'm... Which I actually don't mind at times. I know that's not a healthy thing. Yeah. But it just gives me a day to take stock. And God bless my lovely wife, Tiana, because I needed to take a lot of stock yesterday. Right, so we should point out, right? We're a few weeks ahead in time, so this episode might go out a wee bit after we recorded it. And it's Monday, and we went out on Friday. And there was a moment last night where I thought, I wonder if this is the first time I'm going to have to say to Martin, maybe we should just have a wee week off, because we really, really went for one on Friday night then we

well we did but i mean it was all right welsh's wedding i mean the guy wrote train spot and it was

never going to be anything less than you know a hundred percent jakey leaf punters but they

were but honestly what a collection of car against the big man drums like the the sort of royalty in arse-ender Scottish literature, you know, it's just a fantastic group of people. It was a cracking night. There was a small matter of another football game we won't get into the next day which I had a great time at. So, aye mate, it says the vocal chords have took a bit of a hammering, but yeah, smiling.

It was good, because I think we met, or you went through about four o'clock to Edinburgh on Friday afternoon, and I'd been in St Andrews, and I said, I've got to get through, because I really wanted to go for dinner with you and Tiana and Kate. But then Kate's never ready, right? She's slow, even, I know you think I take ages getting ready. She takes even longer. That's probably because you know you've got ages when Kate's getting ready.
