I'm up in the Moncek Mountains northwest of Barcelona in Catalonia, directly north the snow-covered Pyrenees loon.

This is a part-rich leg. That's a good one.

We drove here before sunrise because it's the mushroom season and that I've discovered is a big deal in Catalonia.

So I'm trying to get my eye in.

When you cook it it turns purple and some people think that it's not good

but it's so good.
