Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Friday. This is Seattle now. This week, who's up for

some ice cold Coca-Cola? Costco is making a big change in its food court. Microsoft is reportedly in

talks to become the American operator of TikTok. Maybe Clippy could get an account. And one of

Seattle's most beloved third places might be staying open after all. A group is in talks to takeover

operations of the Century Ballroom on Capitol Hill. We'll dig into it all with ticket editor Chase Burns and Factal editor Joviara.

This week, we've been reporting on the Costco truck driver's contract that's set to expire today.

Well, here's another one.

The contract between hundreds of post-doctoral

scholars and the University of Washington is also set to expire today. Postdocs are asking for

higher wages and greater protections for international scholars. So far, the labor union hasn't said

whether workers will go on strike. More light rail disruptions on tap for this weekend due to

ongoing construction. Beginning at 10 tonight, the University of Washington Station will

completely close until early Monday morning. That's the light rail stop right next to Husky Stadium.

Shuttle buses will take passengers between that station and Capitol Hill. More weekend disruptions are scheduled for
