You guys doing good?

Good.

Well, hopefully we'll get to some of the stuff with the house and the remodel and there was some stuff that went on in it that looking at it there was a couple

of areas that I saw as it happened looking back that I just want to touch on because I think

it really helped us to be able to have the testimony that we had about God coming through again and again and again on our behalf.

And so I want to start you out with 1 Peter chapter 5.

And unless I designate, it'll be the King James.

And we're going to go to verse six through nine humble yourselves therefore

under the mighty hand of god that he may exalt you in due time casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you.

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,

walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions

are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Well, as I was reading that, and, you know, I grew up in church and I know the right answer.

But when you look at that and you hear people say, cast all your care over on the Lord, for he cares for you.

From the out of this religious group, if care is bad,

why does God have it? If we're not supposed to have it, why does God take it and have it?

And so I was sitting there trying to run through it for people that haven't grown up. You and I, we've heard from Brother Moore enough, we know that the care that he's

talking about casting over is an anxious thought or an anxious worry kind of care. And we know that the care that God cares for us with is a loving care.

It's a care like a father when the child starts to reach for the stove and he grabs them and stops them.

That's a loving, nurturing care.

But we know that's kind of different.
