One of the lessons of the Me Too era has been that sexual predators are just that.

Predators.

In many cases, as not just one victim, in many cases these victims have been pressured in ways large and small to stay quiet.

And the more of these cases we saw over the last several years, the more we learned that

rich and powerful men were capable of keeping these secrets secret for years. The case of

Sean Diddy Combs revolves around claims of sexual abuse, but those claims also go a step further. Federal

prosecutors say the hip-hop mogul used his vast resources to treat that abuse like entertainment for himself and for others, and that he employed a network of cronies to keep the abuse going.

Combs has pleaded not guilty, but this week a jury was selected, lawyers made their opening statements, and yesterday, with the eyes of the world squarely on this federal

courtroom in Lower Manhattan, we heard the most dramatic testimony so far.
