Mick, tell us what is human trafficking and how big of a problem is this.

Human trafficking is modern day slavery and involves the use of force,

fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.

It's a huge problem, Hala.

It is the second fastest growing criminal industry in the world,

even though it's illegal in every country on the planet.

It's hard to get exact numbers, but we think 79% of human trafficking is in the form of sexual exploitation.

And the International Labor Organization estimates that there are 4.8 million people

trapped in forced sexual exploitation globally.

Other organizations, quite a droople that number.

The victims are mostly women and girls.

In fact, almost 20% of all trafficking victims worldwide are children.

That's absolutely terrible, but there's got to be something we can do about it.
