Start with the Yankees just because I know you are a Yankee guy like McMonigal is.

And I thought a very, again, the stretch of 20 games was garbage.

It's been bad.

But I've been pretty consistent all week in that as bad as it looks, it will get better. They are going to be a playoff team, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That having been said, I do think yesterday was important, though, just to get out of Tampa with a split, to beat a pitcher that they usually don't beat, to get contributions from guys that have struggled.

I thought Ryan McMahon's RBI double was almost like, all right, let's take a deep breath,

guys, we're good.

And then for them to have the big inning and almost win a laffer, I thought gives them,

for whatever it's worth, a little bit of momentum into Washington for the weekend.

Well, look, the Yankees, they have kind of the reputation, at least in my eyes, is kind of being soft.

And that's like the last thing you would ever want.

Like when they get challenged, it feels like they melt down a lot of times.

Like last year against the Blue Jays, they were never able to actually capitalizing. It was two years ago against the Red Sox. There's always a team in their division that they can't stand up to. So I don't know that they necessarily stood up to the raise. We'll see as the season goes along here if they're able to overcome the deficit they have right now. But I do think that, yeah, clearly with the way that they have played during this 20-game stretch to go out there

and win a game and score runs. And Austin Wells did so. Are you kidding me? He had a walk and a home

run. Wow, what a day. What a day. You had a good day for sure. And Trent Grusham drives on a run. Yeah. It was just one of those, I don't know. I, you know, they start the game yesterday and they're showing you Rasmuss and, you know, numbers against the Yankees. And you're thinking, like, like, so if I was, this is where the numbers are just mind boggling or stupid. If I was a betting man yesterday and I'm looking at the trends of Rasmussen against the Yankees and the way the Yankees have hit or haven't hit and the way the Yankees haven't won, I would have thought I would have put all my money on the raise yesterday. Of course. Why wouldn't you have? And then next thing you know, the Yankees wind up winning by seven, eight runs.

Again, contributions from guys that really haven't had good offensive seasons.

The pitching, albeit one of these, like Paul Blackburn was pretty good to start for,

like everything went kind of opposite the way you thought it was going to go, which is why I thought it was an important game. And yeah, it's just, you know, you had Brian Cashman, and I give him credit. Brian Cashman, you know, does speak. I know David Stern does too, but we're in a city where we never heard from Leon Rose for years. We only hear from the football GMs when they're supposed to talk. You know, Brian Cashman sat there and answered questions yesterday in the midst of this funk that they are in. And at least for one day, you know, all is right now. Some of the stuff, Cashman said, not so great. You know, the Stanton stuff is, I mean, just, it's mesmerizing how this guy just can't stay healthy.

And even the judge stuff, like they're hopeful. They know it's not going to be healed. You know, so there are some concerning things, but at least he did speak and give us the updates. Well, look, the win was great, especially with the way that they played. And I'm sure most fans, that's what they're showing up for, right? They want to sit down on their couch in the afternoon and watch the Yankees score some runs and beat the raise and especially a day going into it, right? You've lost two or three against the raise. You've lost 15 or 20, and you're starting, you have a bullpen game with Paul Blackburn. That would just seem like it was lined up for disaster and it doesn't turn out to be the case. But the real headline of yesterday is that the Yankees are going to reimage Judge. We're in the window of four to six weeks when he was originally hurt. They already know going into it, it's not going to be completely healed. That's the headline of the day. So I wanted to, and I did forget, I wanted to go back to read the articles for when this first happened, when they said that the re-imaging was going to happen around this time frame, and if they were expecting it to be where he could get back on the field and start working towards returning. And that I don't remember. I meant to go back and check because I'm with you when I first heard, you know, the one thing that was positive is that they're hoping that it's healed enough that he can

start some sort of activity so that maybe we do see him in, let's say, mid-August, late August.

I mean, at least sometime this year, but the fact that they don't expect it to be completely
