baseball. We've got basketball. We've got plenty to catch you up on on where we sit currently

as far as the day is concerned. In the NBA, we've got one game going on. The Cavaliers lead the Lakers, 26, 21, that game, 228 to go in the first quarter.

Cavaliers are laying one and a half in game. 237 and a half is your in-game total. This is one that I didn't do anything pregame with. I just, I have a blind spot sometimes.

But confidence-wise, with that group for Cleveland, someone that we have six to one on

to win the Eastern Conference, you'd love to see them get going as Luke at Donchich just drained a shot. And it is a two-point game, 2624. I want to see what Luke is doing in the first. Well, he's got six points. Okay, he's got six points. Jared Allen is playing in this game. Jared Allen is making an impact. Eight points, three rebounds for him in the first. So a nice showing by the big man for the Cleveland Cavaliers early on against the Lakers. Oluca's up to 9, actually. 9 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound. Still don't think he's in the mix for MVP. I still think Yokic would be the guy outside of Wembe that I'd make the case for. I've been talking about it the last couple days. I'm just bored by SGA. I understand he's the best player in basketball. I understand his efficiency is off the charts. I totally understand all of that, the way he impacts the game, the clutch moments. But I'm just bored watching the dude shoot mid-range shots and get to the free throw line. And I'm sure it's all objectively quality basketball.

It just doesn't titillate.

It doesn't move the needle for me. And he'll likely win the award. And by the way, I have him at even money to win MVP, so I don't lose anything if he ends up winning this thing. But I just don't think it's fun. I think Wemby's more fun. I think what Wemby's done with San Antonio is more of an MVP case because he's taking this team out of the basement.
