We got a lot going on in the sports world as we have welcomed baseball back into our lives tonight.

In case you missed it opening night, and I think baseball might have learned a lesson tonight.

This is why you do not do an

isolated game for everyone to watch as the New York Yankees dominated the San Francisco Giants 7 to

nothing. The game pushes on the total of seven. Max Fried and the Yanks, they get home at minus a

$1.20 as the favorites in this matchup in the Bay.

But the New York Yankees did their damage very early.

We get to the top of the second.

All of a sudden, John Carlos Stanton showing a little bit of life to begin the year.

Now, he did labor down the line on a very easy hit to center field,

but it didn't look like a comfortable jog to first base for Jean Carlo, who is due to hit the IL multiple times in the year of our Lord 2026.

Jazz Chisholm then got hit by a pitch that he said he couldn't even see.

So that lets you know where the hitters were at in this game with the sight lines and early start time at Oracle Park.

Logan Webb theoretically should have had an advantage in his home ballpark.
