Why am I finding so much joy in this?

A country in Venezuela where when we think about baseball, certainly we know

that they have stars like Eugenio Suarez and Ronald O'Cunia Jr. and a World Series champion

in Salvador Perez. We understand that. But the Dominicans, the Puerto Ricans, even Mexico at times,

get propped up a little bit higher than Venezuela in terms of the baseball hierarchy in the Latin American countries. Yet it's Venezuela, reigning supreme in the world

baseball classic, obviously their first win in this tournament style as the U.S. goes down.

Final score in Miami, three to two, Venezuela. And Venezuela was up two nothing.

Willier Abreu, the outfielder for the Red Sox, six and a half to one cashes for a home run in this game to give them a two-nothing lead.

And then the U.S. tied it up in the eighth, thanks to a two-run bomb by Bryce Harper.

We then go to the ninth inning, and Venezuela ends up winning in the top of the ninth

due to a double off the bat of Eugenio Suarez into left center field. Plates a run and now Venezuela

is your world baseball classic champ. Nine to one. That was their number pre-flop here as this

tournament got going a couple weeks ago. I know Andrew, one of our

producers here, he had them, I think, at 13 to 1 to win the whole thing. And he's sitting pretty

now with a nice ticket that's cashed as the Venezuelans are your champions. And for the United
