before we get to your thoughts on everything in the postseason, the regular season, the

end of it. There's a lot of theories that people have out there that could maybe fix what we saw

to end this thing out with all the tanking and

teams really not trying for the last few weeks? Do you have a solution that you really love

to make the end of the regular NBA season a little bit more palatable for the fans?

Yeah, I wrote about it and I have some thoughts. I don't know that the NBA agrees with my

thoughts. So I think we kind of skidsism a little bit, but I really think that at a starting point,

you need to freeze the lottery around the trade deadline.

That's in February.

That's at the point around the All-Star break where the basketball gets ugly. Teams decide, okay, we're not good.

We're not going to make a playoff run. Let's pivot into being terrible. If you freeze the lottery

odds at that point, there's no reason for the end of the season to be this awful. And where we differ,

me in the NBA, I think, is that, you know, I kind of accept like teams are going to be terrible. There's going to be two or three teams every year. That's going to be really bad. They need about three years of retooling. They're going to go through the lottery. They're going to be awful. And I feel like if we're punishing them with taking away the lottery odds that we're just delaying the process, kind of like how The Pistons needed five years to get out of the lottery odds that were just delaying the process, kind of like how the
