Bitcoin came out, which I've got a terrible story about Bitcoin that we love them.

So back in the day, there was this program that still exists. You could donate your computing power

to this folding at home

project and it would give you points for how much science contributions you gave. So this was 2009,

2010. Me and my friends would see who donated more, who had a faster gaming rig, whose computer

was better. And then Bitcoin came out. And now it's not just going to science.

We could make, you know, fake money from it. And I, I, long story short, basically a hard drive

that I was mining forever that probably has half a billion dollars on it, you know, disappeared.

And not disappeared, not disappeared. I forgot about basically because, you know,

might have been worth 20 bucks at the time

in the old laptop and sat in storage.

And eventually Bitcoin does what it did.
