Hey everybody and welcome to Movie Crush, Friday interview edition, Friday filmmaker series edition, Friday filmmaker series, Casey edition.

Yeah, Casey's back. Glad to be back. Welcome. I just shook the table. That's how excited I am. Yeah, thanks for having me again. I always look forward to these.

Yeah man, so to catch everyone up, we started a Casey on Kubrick series, which by the way, that has now borne many filmmaker series.

I noticed I'd just listened to the first Paul Thomas Anderson episode, and really, really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the rest of those. Yeah, Adam's great.

But it was great to, yeah, especially that first film that is so under-seen. I figured you'd be all over that.

So we did several Kubrick movies. We did The Shining, we did Pads of Glory, we did Barry Linden, we did Eyes Wide Shut.

Anvil Metal Jacket. Anvil Metal, wow, I did five. That's not bad. Yeah.

And then you made the decision to do a little switcheroo. It's a little detour.

And do a movie of something sort of inspired by Kubrick. Yeah.

And it was a film that I had not seen, Jonathan Glazer's birth. Yes.

I remember this movie coming out. I was a huge fan of sexy beast. So I don't know why I didn't see this. I didn't see under the skin yet either.

Oh wow. Yeah. Oh, it's, yeah. It's um...

So he's one of your guys. Probably is best film. Oh really?

I don't know. Between this and birth, or between birth and under the skin. It's hard to say.
