Summary

Six months ago, we brought you the story of 70-year-old Sandra Eckert, who had been missing for 15 months from Franklin, Wisconsin. The story was eerie, with so many haunting hallmarks we’ve heard in many stories with the same patterns of behavior. When we first shared Sandra’s story with you, we held a significant amount of information in confidence at the request of Sandra’s family and law enforcement. At that time, we knew that there were sealed court documents that could lead to some significant developments in the case and possibly an arrest and indictment. While the developments we want to share with you today are not a final resolution to Sandra’s case, they are a step forward in the investigation. We want to end 2022 on a positive note looking forward to the major developments we hope and believe will take place in 2023.

1:01.0	I didn't think it happened. But I feel she's not deciding out because she didn't reach the kids or grandkids.
1:08.0	So I don't believe she's having out. She's checking accounts and saving accounts,
1:15.0	and credit cards and they haven't been touched. She would have... In a cop from watching all the accounts,
1:23.0	they'd know right away if something was spent and they'd get back to me. And I would know, I get the bills from the mail-on.
1:30.0	She'd charge up them, yeah. So that's about that. I just think something bad happened, that's all.
1:38.0	She would have contacted my kids or my grandkids. I thought you just left the contactor, you know,
1:46.0	run away and contact her lawyer and I'd hear from the lawyer, yet we are a year later.
1:52.0	Shortly before midnight on March 26, 2021, 70-year-old Sandra Eckert got into a fight with her husband.
2:00.0	It wasn't their first. In fact, it may not have been their first that day.
2:05.0	Sandra and her husband had remained in a mutually miserable marriage that was plagued by COVID quarantines,
2:11.0	inheritance disputes and other issues. So when Sandra and her husband's vehicle disappeared around 11.30pm,
2:19.0	it seemed possible that she left an anger and went to go stay somewhere else.
2:24.0	But just a few hours later, before her family knew anything was wrong,
2:28.0	it became clear to police that Sandra didn't choose to disappear.
