worked on this week.

And by the time we get in here Monday, it's very possible that there will already be news

about free agent commitments and signings that will take place at the beginning of free agency,

which is Wednesday.

But the negotiating quiet period or whatever they call it actually begins on Monday.

Well, we're here today and getting the podcast out a little

bit earlier than normal because of the news that broke yesterday afternoon, that Case

Keenham had been traded to the Redskins. I don't think anybody had Case Keenum. If you did,

congratulations. Aaron, I'll be totally honest with you. I was prepared,

or almost completely prepared, to come in here this morning and say that the Redskins had had

conversations with both Ryan Fitzpatrick and Teddy Bridgewater and were choosing between which of the two

paths they would go down, that it was going to be Fitzpatrick or Bridgewater. I was waiting for

one other call, and I hadn't gotten it yet, but I was pretty close to having, you know, every once in a while,

every once in a blue moon, I'll have something, some news, and I was pretty close to saying

the Redskins are going to sign when free agency begins, either Ryan Fitzpatrick or Teddy

Bridgewater.

I'm glad that the Keenham news broke yesterday, so I don't look like a fool after the fact.

But I actually do think that they've talked to just about everybody with respect to trying to solve this quarterback situation that they are in.
