More than 50 years ago a small fishing village in Nova Scotia experienced one of the most storied UFO encounters in Canadian history. The eyewitness accounts and testimonies of those who saw a mysterious object crash into the Atlantic waters that evening have made Shag Harbor one of the most cited events when talking about evidence for extraterrestrial UFOs. UFOlogists studying trends in sightings for the last several decades have found that just in the last few years UFO sightings across Canada have been on the rise.
