Summary

In 1963, Dr. Benjamin Simon was a practicing neuropsychiatrist with an office in the Back Bay district of Boston. He was a well-recognized authority in the use of hypnotherapy to treat patients affected by maladies resulting from what we recognize now as post traumatic stress disorder. Renowned for his work with WWII veterans he had decades of experience and was, by all accounts, a dedicated medical professional. In December of that year, a couple came to him on a referral to try and address experiences of recurring nightmares and what seemed to be amnesia concerning a few hours of a trip they had taken 2 years prior. During their return to their home in New Hampshire, the couple had reported witnessing a UFO that seemed to approach and follow their vehicle. Dr. Simon’s sessions with the husband and wife would bring to the surface terrifying memories, seemingly locked away within their subconscious, and provide the world with what is widely considered the first documented case of an alien abduction.
