Summary

During the Golden Age of Greece the most powerful woman in the realm was known as the Pythia. A high priestess of the god Apollo, these women were renowned for their powers of clairvoyance. Before any major military or political decision was to be made, it was tradition that these great seeresses be consulted. The power of prophecy has fascinated humankind since time immemorial. The ability to see into the future and navigate the trials of often cruel and fickle fate.
