The Royal Military College Duntrune is responsible for preparing cadets and selected candidates

for careers as commissioned officers in the Australian Army.

It aims to do this by promoting leadership and integrity, inspiring high ideals and

the pursuit of excellence and by instilling a sense of duty, loyalty and service to the

nation.

Australian soldiers adhere to a contract that solidifies their solemn obligation to the

nation.
