It was around 7.45pm on Monday, November 16, 2009, when a 911 operator in Utah picked

up a call from a woman named Pamela Mortensen.

She explained that she and her husband had just survived a home invasion at a house belonging

to Pamela's father-in-law, Kay Mortensen.

Pamela said the perpetrators had tied her and her husband up in the living room while

telling them Kay was restrained on the second floor.
