away with the crimes for so long. The reality was that most of Nielsen's victims were

been reported missing. The Guardian newspaper reported that Nielsen

insulated himself from detection by choosing victims who were, quote, young, homeless,

down and out homosexuals and surmised. The reason why nobody knew that Nielsen was
