Reported first by ESPN and then by my good friends Sam Amick and David Aldridge at the

athletic that Caruso signed a four-year $81 million deal that has no

options and runs through the 28-29 season keeps Caruso in OKC long-term, which was always the goal.

And so I think there could be some sticker shock, although there really shouldn't be a sticker shock

with this deal. I really think that this is fair for a player like Caruso. I think that you look

at other role players across the NBA, and the guys that have this kind of deal are about the

same caliber of player that Caruso is.

Like you look at Marcus Smart is about 20 million.

You know, Dylan Brooks is about 20 million.

Jaden McDaniel is about 20 million.
