I remember watching Pokemon every morning before school.

Yeah, there was a certain TV channel that would always put out Pokemon at the time

just before school was starting.

And I remember being always really disappointed because it was a double showing.

So every time I had to go to school, I knew there was going to be another episode of Pokemon on.

After that.

I was always so disappointed to be missing it.

I'd say, Mom, please, can I stay?

And I remember one day when I was

poorly, a little sick, had to stay off school.

And I legitimately was, I wasn't pretending. Very rarely did that.

But I finally got to watch my double episode of Pokemon.

I was really happy, if not quite tired and sick.
