Did you see the tweet he put out last night after his day with the reporting on the Jets, being on the midday show, he did a giant podcast with his partner, 843 last night. This is just so perfect for Marash. After cleaning up dog poop in my tundra backyard this evening,

exactly what I was talking about, right? It's perfect. Yeah. All right, so I promised this Craig audio last hour, and just to refresh, this was the end of him shooting down pretty much everything that Sean said about the Jets on the midday show yesterday, which we heard was backed up by his hosts, Evan and Tiki. So this was just that last part from Craig just to refresh. The Jets don't even deserve better. But we can at least be accurate.

If we're going to put them on blast, let's do it some accuracy and some facts.

So anyway, I've certainly made my fair share of mistakes on the air, as we all do.

But it was just funny to me how he mentioned accuracy and facts from Marash and the Jets went minutes earlier as he was discussing the Giants hiring of Matt Nagy as offensive coordinator, and we're going to take this in parts here as Craig was looking back on Nagy's run as Bears head coach, specifically with Mitchell Chubisky as his quarterback. So Ryan Day was the general manager, and when they hired Matt Nagy to be the head coach, Matt Nagy had previously met or had some kind of relationship with Trubisky, and like a lot of people in teams, was very high on Trubisky. All right. Now, a couple things here. Matt Nagy may very well have been high on Mitchell Trubisky. It had a relationship with him. I don't know. But number one, Mitchell Trubisky was drafted in 2017 when Matt Nagy was still the offensive coordinator with the Chiefs. John Fox was the Bears head coach at the time. Also, Ryan Day is the Ohio State coach.

Ryan Pace was the Bears GM at the time. So we get those two things out of the way. Just want to be accurate and clean it up. Exactly. We want to get the facts. So now we move forward with that. Now, to be fair, nobody knew what Patrick Mahomes was going to become. Well, as it turns out,

But the reality is still the same, that a combination of Ryan Day, along with Matt Nagy, moved up in the draft and essentially traded with the Kansas City Chiefs for the rights to Patrick Mahomes.

They chose Trubisky. Kansas City became a dynasty.

Trubisky, but it was one spot from three to two with the Niners, whereas Mahomes was

taken 10th as the Chiefs traded up from 27 with the Bills. Now, at the time, that was a bit of a surprise if we look back on it.
