Peter Mendelssohn has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct and public office.

He has been accused of passing market-sensitive information

to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein while serving in government as business secretary.

Two of his properties have been searched by police.

Of course, this comes just days after the arrest of the King's brother, Andrew Mountbatten, Windsor. He was also arrested on suspicion of misconduct and public office.
