Ruby, it finally happened in the Carson-Wens trade that we've all been waiting for.

Let's just hop right into it. This is an emergency edition of the Eagle

Rube, here's, let's just break down the initial trade.

The Eagles send Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2021 third round pick, a

2022 conditional second round pick, your initial reaction to the trade.

Well, my initial reaction is thank God it's over for everybody's sake and really seriously for the eagle's sake they can kind of move on and figure out their

roster and their quarterback and their cap situation, their draft and just kind of

start moving on and crazy situation that it came to this.

It still kind of seems unreal when you think about it that this guy that they made two incredible trades for in to get up to number two just you know five

years ago four years and ten months ago it's not that long you know, it was the face of the franchise,

the franchise quarterback got off to such a great start.

First four games, you had like nine touchdowns

and one interception.

You know, 11 and two a second year. Not bad, his next two years and it just went bad and you don't see that. You don't see guys that caliber, that level

just you know, it just disappears like that. So there's a lot to unpack there.

I think we're going to be looking at this for years as we see what happens with the Eagles and their quarterback job
