I got to listen to that message and I just was like a I'm so encouraged personally and I'm so encouraged

About that message being lodged into the heart of our house and what we were celebrating in chapter 8 was that

Barriers were being broken the racial barrier was broken and Philip was able this this you know ordinary guy that we got introduced to was able to take the gospel to

Samaria a part of the promise and that was a racial barrier to be broken these were half breeds to a

Jewish mindset and God said look here's the thing about racial reconciliation

Are you ready for this? It is a good idea and it is a human idea and it's a decent idea

But more than any of that it's a gospel idea

racial reconciliation is a gospel driven idea and you're like well, what do you mean by that? What do you mean?

It's a gospel driven idea. I mean that God created us all a

Every race every tribe every language and every tongue. We are made in the image of God

That's the beginning and he redeemed us all so Christ didn't come for one color of skin

He came for humanity of all colors on planet earth and gave his life for every single one of us and when we receive that

Gospel grace we love everyone

We become brothers and sisters with all kinds of people through faith in Jesus Christ

And we're willing to go anywhere to serve anybody to share the gospel with all people because we see everyone has

dignity everyone has value everyone is significant and everyone stands equal at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ

And so what Philips doing is what we all need to be doing

He's understanding that the engine of the gospel of grace is what

breaks down the barriers of racial tension
