In the previous part, Bertie must give a helping hand to his lazy poet friend, Rocky Todd,

after he received an unexpected fortune from his aunt, who wished him to experience a life

in New York vicariously through him.

As Rocky deplored the idea, the ever-resourceful Jeeves concocted a scheme to keep Rocky's aunt entertained with false letters of his adventures.

This plan backfires, however, when Rocky's aunt unexpectedly arrives in the city to visit.

Before we begin tonight's story, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
