I'm going to, I'm going to jump right in here tonight, and I don't even, I'm not even going to

pretend I'm going to finish. I'm just going to tell you, I wanted today to begin to put some word, some pen to paper, put some words together in light

of what the Lord has been showing me about Esther.

And I did not make it past the first few verses of chapter one, none of which mentioned

Esther.

So I'm going to talk to you a little bit tonight.

I want to use her story as somewhat of a backdrop.

And I want to show you some progression.

Ultimately, here's where I'm going, and I want to give this to you,

and so that you kind of know, I don't know, maybe to set some groundwork.

Esther saves the Jews that were being prepared for a Holocaust

by being close enough in intimacy to catch the ear of a king with her whisper.

Let me say it again.

An entire nation of people are heading toward destruction, the captive Jews.

Esther saves the nation and never swings a sword.

Because she was close enough and intimate enough with the king that he responded to her whispers.

Could it be that our shouts have had to be so loud

because our whispers are from too great a distance?

I'm not against shouting, but I want to shout because of what he's doing,

not have to shout him into doing it.

Because to be frank with you, I've seen the other produce little, except pride in the shouter.
