Mark chapter 10, I'm going to read out of two translations.

The Lord is, I don't know, I don't want to, I'm really trying to discipline myself because there's so much I want to say.

And I feel like I need to, in some way, I feel like I need to hold some of this until the appropriate time.

But the Lord has really had me in a very unusual place where he's taking me back to some things.

He's just taking me back to some things.

There's things I've ministered from before, text I've taught from before, and he's beginning to invite me to see them.

Let me sit like this.

Position creates perspective.

Okay?

This building looks a certain size when you're in it.

It looks a different size when you fly in it. It looks a different size when you fly over it.

Anybody ever flown over your home in an airplane and you look down at your home and it's not as big as you thought it was?

Why?

Because position creates perspective.

So one of the reasons we get invited into elevated places of devotion

is not just for the sake of encounter, it's for the grace to inherit appropriate perspective.

So we're being called into the mountain of devotion, not just to have an encounter in the

mountain of devotion, but begin to not just to encounter him, but to inherit

the vision that is a natural secondary consequence of God's seated perspective on a matter.

Here's the issue, the world does not look winnable enough to us.

It's paralyzed us evangelistically.
