Luke 7-11.

Now it happened the day after that he went into a city called Nain, and many of his

disciples went with him in a large crowd.

Familiar story, I'm not going to get to my favorite parts of this, but there's something

I want to show you tonight. Verse 12, when he came near the gate of the city, say gate of the city. Come on, say gate of the city. Behold, a dead man was being carried out the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. Something in the city is killing men. She's a widow. Something in the city is killing men.

She's a widow, and this is her only son.

Doesn't say whether or not she has a daughter, but a hundred percent of the men in her life are dead.

Husband is dead, now her only son is dead.

with my heart the way it is for men this is really interesting for me and a large crowd from the

city was with her say large crowd when the lord saw her he had compassion on her and said to her, do not weep. Then he came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And he said, young man, I say to you arise. So he who was dead, set up and began to speak. And he presented him to his mother.

Then fear came upon all.

And they glorified God saying, a great prophet has risen up among us.

And this report about him went throughout all Judea and throughout all the surrounding region.

I'm going to read the whole thing again.

Couple of things I want to highlight, verse 11. And it happened the day after that he went into a city called Nain, and many of his disciples went with him in a large crowd. Say large crowd. Y'all wouldn't make it in a word of faith church. Say large crowd. There you go. And when he came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out the only son of his mother, and she was a widow and a large crowd.

Say large crowd.

Woo, y'all are getting there.

From the city was with her.

When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, do not weep.
