Go with me over to Acts chapter number one.

I promise I'm not going to stay there long.

I shouldn't say that.

I have no intention of staying there long, but I want to set us up for what I believe the Lord

would have to say to us next.

So Acts chapter number one is where we're going to begin.

We're going to journey over to Acts 2 at some point and really super, super stirred about what

I believe the Father has for me to deposit. Interestingly, when the apostles come out of the

Acts 1 upper room commitment to the 10-day prayer meeting. This is immediately on the

heels of the 40-day period where Jesus is visiting them within the resurrection. Immediately when

they come out of that 10-day prayer meeting, they begin to experience what we call

Pentecost, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, clove and tongues of fire.

We're going to talk a lot about all of that tonight.

Immediately, the next thing that happens from there,

outpouring of the spirit, 3,000 people are added.

The next thing that happens is teaching.

The next thing that happens is teaching. And they submitted to the

Apostles' doctrine after that. Oftentimes what happens is whenever an expression of revival comes,

we see it as a window into a harvest rather than recognizing that it's also a window into

equipping the people that are actually assigned

for the harvest. If we don't make that shift, we'll still depend on one man with the fire of God
