I believe the principal role of fathers in our day is to create cultures and environments that permit a degree

of expression that's equal to the story.

Okay.

Jesus is being confronted by the religious spirit.

The religious spirit has a problem with

what they perceived was an excessive expression of worship, woman with the alabaster box.

They perceive that to be an excessive expression of worship and their whole purpose behind that error in them was they knew how to value the perfume, and they had no idea how to value the Christ.

So they measured her worship and saw it as excessive because they could measure it, but they couldn't measure him.

They were absolutely right in their assessment of the value of the perfume.

They were in absolute error to believe it was too much for him.

And one of the mistakes we make in an atmosphere of creativity and flow and imagination

is we look at the creativity, flow, flow and imagination and we fail to focus on the

Christ. Everything in here was over the top excessive and unnecessary if Jesus wasn't present.

If he was, nothing that happened in here was enough. I shut my Bible and go home right now.

No, I'm serious.

If you and I begin to get this, if Jesus is present, and we know where two or more are gathered together in his name, there he is in the midst of them.

His nature is that he is omnipresent.

So the Christ is in the room.

The degree to which we're able to engage the Christ

that's present is based upon the level of honor that we're willing to show based upon the

revelation of his presence. So how you and I honor the Christ being present determines the degree
