Judges chapter six. Judges chapter six, I'm going to give a quick review of where we were last night.

We're starting early. It's only 8.15. So that means we've only been here almost two hours.

Judges six,

verse one again,

then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord.

The Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years.

The hand of Midian prevailed against Israel because of the Midianites.

The children of Israel made for themselves dens.

People of the East would come up against them. Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza.

And leave no sustenance.

No sustenance we learned last night.

That word means reviving or revived life.

Leaving no sustenance for Israel Israel neither sheep nor ox nor donkey,

for they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locust.

But they and their camels were without number.

They would enter the land to destroy it.

Let me read that again, because I messed that up somehow.

And I'm weird.

I was reading verse 6 as I was reading verse 5.

I know. Don't worry about it. For they would come up, I worry about it enough without you having to worry about it.
