John 15, I'm going to read from that in just a little while.

Let me talk to you a little bit about the affliction of rootlessness, the groundwork of that,

and the grace for coming home.

Yahweh is a planter.

Genesis 2 verses 8 says,

and the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden.

The word plant nautau means to plant, fasten, fix, or root.

It could have literally been translated.

Yahweh rooted a garden east in Eden.

Genesis 4, beginning in verse 9. I'll cover a few verses here quickly. You guys have, did I give you those? Good. Yeah, I gave them to Jesse and they migrated back

there. Okay. Genesis chapter 4 verse 9 says, then the Lord said to Cain's able your brother he said i do not know am i my

brother's keeper verse 10 and he said what have you done the voice of your brother's blood cries out to me from the

ground so now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.

Verse 12.

When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you, a fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth. The new living translation says a homeless

wanderer, a fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth. Verse 13. And Cain said to the Lord,

my punishment is greater than I can bear.

Surely you have driven me out this day from the face of the ground.

I shall be hidden from your face.

I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth.

And it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.
