I felt this shift about 415 this morning, and I feel like Yahweh begin to talk to me about the subject of being re-gripped.

So I want you to go to Mark 1. Are you there? Mark one. I'm going to read out of the new King James.

I think they've got those verses ready for you back there.

I'll just read along with the screen there.

Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, he went out, he being Jesus,

and departed into a solitary place, and there he prayed.

And Simon and those who were with him searched for him.

When they found him, they said to him, everyone is looking for you.

The Passion Translation, when it talks about rising a great while before morning, says a long

while before daylight.

And I want to peer into a couple of thoughts

are we okay just to jump right into this teaching tonight just just how we do it is we don't we don't have

any clue what we're doing so if you came for smooth transitions and bulletins and announcements

and get out before sunrise you're probably going to be disappointed.

The Passion Translation says he got up a long while before daylight, and I want to peer into

a couple of thoughts tonight.

Number one, number one, the degree to which they were gripped early on, the disciples.

Number two, the subsequent longing produced in the lives of those sufficiently gripped early on, the disciples. Number two, the subsequent longing produced in the

lives of those sufficiently gripped. We've talked about lingering and longing. I want to talk

to you tonight about being gripped and longing. Chronologically, we find them in Mark I,

in the earliest stages of their encounter when everything was new, fresh, and alive.
