Go with me to John 4. I've been writing again today, so bear with me a little bit.

But I want to teach you some things the Lord birthed in me prophetically out of a conversation I had in about this area right here with a group of spiritual sons last night. And the Lord

has wrecked me with it all day and been speaking to me about it all afternoon and I've

been writing. And this is a story we're all real familiar with. We would call it the woman

at the well. And so I'm going to read quite a bit of text to you. I come from apostolic DNA that has been known to read six

chapters out of the book of Deuteronomy without taking a breath on a Sunday morning. So just be happy.

You're only getting 29 verses. All right. Chapter 4, you guys don't have to put this up on the

screen because I'm coming out of this translation that I don't think we have in the computer

system. So John Chapter 4, beginning in verse 1.

Soon the news reached the Jewish religious leaders

known as the separated ones

that Jesus was drawing greater crowds of followers

coming to be baptized than John.

Although Jesus didn't baptize but had his disciples baptized the people,

Jesus heard what was being said and abruptly left Judea.

Let me back up. I want you to get this.

The news began to spread that Jesus was drawing greater crowds than

John. As soon as Jesus heard that news, he left abruptly. You know, as Jesus draws the crowd of

5,000, multiplies bread and fish, fish feeds all of them they get up the next morning

expecting breakfast he snuck away in the middle of the night goes to the other side of the

lake they all show up and he said you didn't follow me because of my word you followed me
